The most traumatic, stressful and worrying memory for anyone could be something which is very disturbing for their soul and rape is one of the traumatic situations. Its not easy to discuss this issue but you have to keep believing that no matter what happened or how bad it was, but still rape doesnt define me otherwise the whole perspective will change.

In order to feel the true sadness of such thing, consider this particular story where a girl got raped by her dear friend and he planned a date with her and they went on a beautiful date and that night it ended up with her loud screams. Now, its hard for her to forget that night ever and the days after that incident were even more worse as her friend who raped her was actually her university fellow as well.
In the beginning she started avoiding to go to university and she used to hide here and there so she cannot face that person and tried to avoid going in dining halls and gym because he used to be over there. It was kind of like a hide and seek game for a couple of months.
There was a time when that girl started avoiding men and she did not wanted to get closer to men and there was a constant feeling that you are not clean because he raped you. You will face tough times questioning your own self that how did you even let this whole thing happen in the first place. At that time she decided she needs a break from everything.
During that time, she worked on herself and was back to live her life. You should not give permission to others to control your life for you and its important to try to get back to normal as soon as possible otherwise more complication arises. You have to face your assaulter and look them back straight into their eyes to make them aware that you're not scared of them anymore.
That was the time when she finally decided to help other victims who were going through this situation because it gave her feeling that by helping others she can actually take revenge from her assaulter and showing him that her life has not stopped because of this incident and she isn't a weak person.
One you get that realization, there re lots of thing that you can do and one of them is to start helping as many people as possible who have gone through the same tragedy.
