The tool can acts as a jacket because it can serve both the hot and cold components. It is used through all the entire conveying process. This can be achieved through running either cold or hot water through the jacket. Through this process the tool can provide proper and necessary heat for application. The corrosion rate is highly low because it is made up of a variety of materials.

The last step involves checking the shaft end angle, abrasion, and the screw deflection and conveyors thermal expansion. All the features should be checked before completing the task of the tool. The shaft end angle and the deflection should be directly proportional to the tool useful life. Also the screw conveyor should also be able to convey hot or cold materials. The screw and the trough expand and contract at the different rate.

Therefore, it is advisable to choose the correct tool depending on the work one is handling to avoid low efficiency. Tools have specific function especially the screw conveyor and should not be mistakes, the feature are seemingly the same thus prone to confusion. Each tool has its own configurations and different horse power.
