Small scale farming suits best in applying manpower because there is reduced used of machines since the farms are quite small in size. People are used in cultivating the farms, planting and later in harvesting which from the wages or payments that they earn they stand at a position to raise their family status.

Environmental management benefits. Implying of localized farming procedures like cultivation will reduce the rate of pollution that would have been caused by the use of machines. These preserves the animal and bird habitation and their sources of food are not destroyed from massive clearing of forests in order to create spaces for farming.

Land utilization. Through farming, people in the rural areas have developed the sense of how importance the land is. They become aware that land itself is a source of income if utilized to its fullness. This has reduced the existence of open spaces that are uncultivated. From this there have been reduced cases of rural urban migration in search of employment and reduced over dependence of products from rural areas for members in the urban centers who also practice small scale farming.

Maintenance of natural tastes and adequacy of nutrients. Intake of the farm yield will reduce low intake of foods rich in proteins and energy giving foods which lead to anemia respectively, even though they take longer periods to grow compared to genetically modified foods.

Healthiness of the local products. Consumption of homegrown food puts is a crucial since they have not nutrition value. Whenever harvesting is done, they tend to lose the nutrients which they will be of no value for the body. One should consider not consuming manufactured products, or foods that have been refrigerated foods or open to sunlight for a long time.
